We’re not that far away from 2020 yet, but there have still been some memorable red carpet fashion moments where celebrities have been at their best. These are the best-crafted fashion moments from the 2020 awards circuit so far.
1. Jennifer Aniston Golden Globes
Aniston showed that she still has the secret fountain of youth at 50 years old with this Dior look. On this show, she would be a host, nominated, and face a very public reunion with her ex-husband Brad Pitt. The dress was a voluminous, belted black Dior Haute Couture look, with a flared bodice and sparkling diamond necklace.
2. Millie Bobby Brown SAG Awards
Social media unjustifiably hated the “Stranger Things” star’s chosen look, calling it “too mature,” which is ironic, because making fun of a teenager behind the computer screen is pretty immature. We’ll just boil it down to jealousy. In this boss look, Millie rocked an all-white Louis Vuitton look made specifically for her. The pants, coat and dress combo screams CEO and we think she’s absolutely stunned.
3. Joey King Golden Globes
Joey King usually keeps things sweet and simple at awards shows, but for the 2020 Golden Globes, the 20-year-old star of “The Act” was an absolute spectacle that stole every adult’s attention. This optical illusion dress was designed by Jared Eng, who styled it with a 3D-printed Iris van Herpen couture dress. The piece was black and white and featured an innovative cape and tail combination. This dress definitely has Joey on our radar.
4. Reese Witherspoon SAG Awards
Sometimes Reese’s fashion choices ended up being a snoozefest, but luckily this wholesome star decided to take things to a more daring level in an embellished and on-trend Celine dress with a diamond wet look. Although the column silhouette wasn’t new for the “Big Little Lies” actress, the beading paired with an asymmetrical shoulder kept things fresh. We especially love the knot and cutout detail at the top.
5. Priyanka Chopra Golden Globes
No one rocks pink like Priyanka and luckily for the Bollywood actress, hot pink has been in style on every 2020 red carpet so far. The shade certainly makes the actress look much younger, which helps when your husband is an eye-catching guy next to you. Well-placed ruches, a regal train and a shoulder drop were the highlights of this glamorous yet simple look covered in Bvlgari diamonds.
