Mount Batulao – Philippines
Mount Batulao is the most visited trail in the Philippines and is also the perfect hike for beginners. The 4-hour route offers hikers a moderate challenge with undulating slopes filled with wonderful vegetation before reaching the top. At the top, you will witness a spectacular view of the town and the mountains. Make sure you leave as early as possible because you’ll want to soak up every minute.

Sapa – Vietnam
Tucked away in the mountains of Lao Cai, Sapa is the perfect way to escape the Vietnamese heat. This scenic hiking trip is a hike best done overnight. During the walk, you will be able to immerse yourself in the Vietnamese culture and interact with small local people. All while being surrounded by endless rice patties and towering mountains. The beauty of Vietnam lies not only in its culture but also in its nature, and Sapa is no exception.

Taman Negara – Malaysia
In the Taman Negara park in Malaysia, one of the most popular trails is Bukit Teresek. It is not only full of various scenic routes, but also other adventurous activities like boating or walking through exciting pavilions. The hike itself is a 45 minute ordeal that takes you through the rainforest. Once you get to the top there is a panoramic view of the area where you can really see all the lush greenery and breathe in all the fresh air.

Umphang – Thailand
Although popular with Thai locals, Umphang is a hidden gem that many tourists in Thailand don’t know about. It is located in a very remote area between the cities of Chiang Mai and Bangkok which is surrounded by the wonderful wild nature of Umphang. To fully appreciate and immerse yourself in the Umphang Valley, this trek is best done on a two-night tour where you will see the famous Thi Lo Su waterfalls and the Karen village.

Komodo National Park – Indonesia
Far from jungles and trees, Komodo National Park sits on an island surrounded by beautiful blue waters, pink sand, and views of Indonesia. The hike up to the two main peaks takes around 2-3 hours, but when you get there, the view is wonderful. This is the place to be to capture your perfect Instagram photo!
